Such a cute place in Two Harbors that we popped into on our way to Split Rock Light House. I really loved stumbling upon this cafe. I had the Madeira salad and it was fantastic and fresh. My daughter had the Turkey Cheddar Melt and said it was delicious. The atmosphere is so sweet and the service was friendly and helpful. Such a great find and a perfect break point if you’re on your way North.

So lucky to have come across this hidden gem in Two Harbors! The food is amazing and the service impeccable! A recent move to MN has provided us the opportunity to explore many areas. This was our second time to eat at Madeira Bistro and certainly won’t be our last. The curry chicken wild rice soup was amazing as was the chicken salad sandwich! My husband had the pastrami sandwich for the second time and said it was just as awesome as the first time he had it. The ginger, lavender tea is refreshing; wished they bottled that!!! Looking forward to our next exploration visit for sure!

Oh my. What a gem! We loved, loved, loved the artichoke chicken sandwich & the harvest bowl that we split. That sandwich was just amazing! The chicken was so tender & the buns soft & fresh. Servers were friendly & such a cute little place to enjoy lunch with a friend! Thank you! We highly recommend!! Kim

The wild one (wild rice) sandwich was delicious! I would definitely eat here again. You order at the counter, seat yourself, and take your dishes to the back wall when finished. On a Sunday at noon, it took 30 minutes for my food to arrive at my table.

My family of five stopped here on our trip traveling the north shore and absolutely loved it! The food was spectacular. Two of us had different bowls and three had sandwiches. Definitely spring for the hibiscus lemonade and the trail cookie too! Absolutely yum! It was fairly busy for the size of the restaurant, but we didn't wait long for our food at all. The service is top notch! I will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

The north shore is lovely but the food can be touch and go. This is a notable exception. Just a minute or two off of MN61, Madeira offers wonderful bowls, with meat or vegetarian, and great sandwiches. The staff are very friendly. You have to note the limited hours, but if they are open you’ll get a good meal at a reasonable price.

Truly splendid in each and every way. The hibiscus lemonade deserves its own review IMO but the sandwiches, salads and soups were all amazing too! Friendliest people too!! Loved it.
